Volunteer Week

To celebrate the Amazing Volunteers within our community Devonport City Council will again provide ‘Certificates of Recognition’. Certificates are available to volunteers who reside, or volunteered within the Devonport local government area over the last 12 months.

Organisations and Community Groups are invited to submit a list of nominations via the below website form by Tuesday, 5 May 2026. 

Volunteer Week 18-25 May 2026. This years theme is: Your Year to Volunteer. 

  • To request certificates for your volunteers, complete the form below by Tuesday, 5 May 2026.

    Organisations will be contacted when certificates are available for collection from Council’s Customer Service (Level 2, paranaple centre), ahead of National Volunteer Week.

    Should you have more than 15 volunteers requiring certificates please upload an Excel or typed Word file of all names (please note that handwritten lists cannot be processed).

    If you would like Mayor Alison Jarman to attend your Volunteer Week function to present the certificates, please email Council to confirm availability on council@devonport.tas.gov.au.
